We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming environment for our customers while preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items. Your exceptional customer service skills and attention to detail will ensure that each guest has an enjoyable experience.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and food items according to established recipes and standards. Operate the POS system, including Micros POS, for processing transactions accurately. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including food preparation stations and dining areas. Handle cash transactions responsibly, ensuring accurate cash handling and basic math calculations during checkout. Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures to ensure the health and safety of all customers. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours while managing time effectively.

Experience

Previous barista experience or experience in the food industry is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele. Familiarity with food preparation techniques and food service operations is advantageous. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality service. Pay: $17.20 per hour
