We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love of customer service, providing an exceptional experience to our patrons. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Duties
Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, smoothies and other beverages according to established recipes and standards.
Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for order processing and cash handling.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment and utensils.
Assist in food preparation as needed, ensuring all food items are handled safely and hygienically.
Provide friendly and efficient service to customers, addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly.
Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment.
Skills
Experience in the food industry is preferred.
Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Proficient in cashiering and cash handling procedures.
Basic math skills for accurate order processing and change giving.
Knowledge of food preparation techniques is a plus.
Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
