We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, maintaining a clean and inviting environment, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and standards. Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions accurately, including basic math calculations for change. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas. Assist with food preparation and serving as needed, adhering to food safety guidelines. Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly and responding to their needs promptly. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality. Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and preparation. Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment.

Skills

Previous barista experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers. Experience in the food industry is advantageous, particularly in food service roles. Proficiency in using POS systems, including Micros POS, for processing transactions efficiently. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Basic math skills for cash handling and ensuring accurate transactions. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques is essential.
