We, TEAM Bullet, take pride in our 25-year coffee shop and love what we do.

We are currently seeking 1-2 friendly, dedicated, motivated, hard-working, and EXPERIENCED Barista to join our team in a permaneent part-time position. We need a Barista with a flexible, but very reliable schedule- can you help with last-minute coverage at times?

We are looking to fill weekday shifts and some weekends when staff need time off.

We are offering approximately 13-20hrs+ /week. However, hours will vary depending on TEAM/ in-shop requirements.

This Barista position is responsible collectively with TEAM Bullet for the following store operations, service, product & training:

provide outstanding, very friendly, kind and outgoing customer service. prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages such as coffee, tea, and specialty drinks be a Team player, dedicated and always practice respect. cash is accepted as a form of payment from our customers in-store, therefore you must be comfortable with cash handling. proficient at performing all POS duties. execute all front and back of shop functions such as coffee making as well as food preparations. follow all opening and closing procedures thoroughly. assist in maintaining a tidy and efficient well-stocked shop. assist in maintaining food and beverage inventory levels. ensure the Bullet food and beverage recipes are maintained. help team members maintain the highest standards of cleanliness in the front and back of shop. customer tips shouldn't be expected, as it's a true bonus and says a lot about those providing customer service, but they are 100% for the Barista(s) and shared between the TEAM members working the same shift. Tip outs are done daily in cash.
Candidate qualifications for this position:

must be able to work weekday mornings or afternoon shifts as well as weekends. Our operating hours are from 7:30am-3:30pm, seven days a week and closed most Statutory Holidays. This support shift may start as early as 7:00am and work as late as 4:30pm. must be friendly and outgoing with all our of our patrons. knowledge of food safety practices. shall be well organized, detail-oriented and able to multi-task. must have effective problem-solving skills and decision-making abilities. must be able to remain in a stationary position during the majority of your shift. routinely moves equipment/ boxes weighing up to 50lbs. must have fluent verbal and written English communication skills. must have fun and truly enjoy your Barista position or please apply elsewhere (Life is too short not to enjoy what you do).

Experience:

Coffee Barista experience: 1 year (preferred, but any experience is acceptable if you have an overall great personality, passion for your job, and are motivated and dedicated to an exceptional team)

Pay: $15.00-$15.50 per hour
