Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our vibrant team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while crafting high-quality beverages and providing exceptional service. Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently, handling cash transactions accurately. Engage with customers, providing friendly service while taking orders and answering questions about menu items. Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of coffee beans, syrups, and other supplies. Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive work environment and support each other during busy shifts. Uphold quality standards by consistently checking the taste and presentation of beverages.

Experience

Previous barista experience

is strongly preferred Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred, particularly in food service or retail environments. Familiarity with food safety practices and handling procedures is essential. Experience with POS systems is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided. Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy periods. A genuine passion for coffee culture and eagerness to learn about different brewing techniques is highly valued.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00-$17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 25 per week
