Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated PART TIME Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and customer service, providing an exceptional experience for our patrons. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages, maintaining cleanliness in the workspace, and ensuring customer satisfaction. WE ARE LOOKING FOR A PART TIME BARISTA ONLY WHO WOULD BE INTERESTED IN EVENING SHIFTS ON WEEKDAYS (1PM - 8:30PM) AND WEEKENDS (10AM-5:30).

Duties

Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and other beverages according to standard recipes. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for order processing and cash handling. Assist with food preparation and ensure all food items are handled safely and in compliance with health regulations. Maintain cleanliness of the work area, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas. Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly and addressing their needs promptly. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service. Perform basic math calculations for cash handling and transactions. Help train new staff members on food service procedures and equipment usage.

Skills

Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with patrons. Experience operating an Espresso machine and making high-quality coffee and non-coffee drinks with consistency and efficiency. Experience in food service is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Proficiency in operating POS systems for efficient transaction processing. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food handling safety standards. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work collaboratively within a team setting while also being self-motivated.

Pay: $15.00-$17.00 per hour
