Tache Avenue in St. Boniface, MB has been home to the bakery now known as Le Croissant for 80+ years. Originally named The Rolling Pin, the business opened as an Ice Cream Shoppe and Bakery in 1941. With one location change (100 ft into the next building), one name change (The Rolling Pin to Le Croissant), and 3 ownership changes, the bakery continues to operate with the same values as it has since the beginning --

As a barista, you'll create memorable experiences for our Guests through exceptional service and top-notch products. You'll be immersed in a fast-paced, joyous environment (bakeries are some of the happiest places on earth) where you'll have the ability to master your service craft, work among friends, and bring smiles to people every day.

You will make a great barista for Le Croissant if you:

Smile naturally Are a team player with excellent communication skills and a positive attitude Are excited by learning new things Understand how to create a great customer service experience Exhibit attention to detail and a passion for creating beverages and serving baked goods Can keep cool and calm in a fast-paced, energetic work environment Can maintain a clean and organized workspace

Summary of Experience

Previous service experience in a barista or cafe setting (preferred, not mandatory)

Basic Qualifications

Intermediate level of French Smart Choices Certificate (Mandatory) Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation Available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and/or holidays Meet store operating policies and standards, including providing quality beverages and food products, cash handling and store safety and security, with or without reasonable accommodation Engage with and understand our Guests, including discovering and responding to customer needs through clear and pleasant communication Available to perform many different tasks within the store during each shift
