Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and exceptional customer service skills. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages, maintaining cleanliness in the workspace, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our customers. Your role will be pivotal in creating memorable experiences for our patrons.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and food items according to established recipes and standards. Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Utilize POS systems, including Micros POS, to process orders efficiently and manage inventory. Maintain cleanliness of the work area, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas to adhere to food safety standards. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Assist in food preparation and serving as needed, ensuring all items meet quality standards. Demonstrate strong time management skills by prioritizing tasks during busy periods while maintaining attention to detail. Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and preparation.

Experience

Previous experience as a Barista or in the food service industry is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with POS systems is advantageous Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members. Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing are essential. Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling regulations is beneficial. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure. Join us in creating an inviting atmosphere where every cup of coffee is crafted with care! Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
