We believe that a Baristas work is deeper than crafting the perfect cup o' Joe - it's about connecting with each Guest on a personal level, crafting something for their unique tastes and needs on any given day. Our Cafe team thrives to create moments of truth with each interaction while also producing top quality beverages and serving fresh handcrafted foods. Our food & beverage offerings are completely unique to our singular location at the Bauer Marketplace in Uptown Waterloo. Freshness, quality and authenticity rule the day in all that we offer at the Bauer Bakery & Cafe.

You enjoy making meaningful connections with others You are looking to grow and advance your skills & knowledge You thrive working as part of a small, dedicated team who support and celebrate each other's successes You are excited to help impact the business by creating monthly feature beverages & curating daily social media content You are able to work as well with others as you do independently You are available for shifts during our daytime hours (between 6:30am-6:30pm) in either a full-time or part-time capacity You have one previous year of Barista experience You are organized and diligent at completing the task at hand with excellence every time You may have your driver's license and access to a vehicle (this is not required, but would be considered an asset)
