Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service and food preparation, with a keen interest in coffee, tea, and beverage crafting. As a Barista, you will be responsible for creating exceptional experiences for our customers through high-quality service and product knowledge.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other specialty drinks to customers. Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately using POS systems, including Micros POS. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, ensuring adherence to food safety standards. Assist with food preparation and serving of light snacks or pastries as needed. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours. Uphold all food handling procedures to maintain quality and safety standards.

Experience

Previous experience as a Barista or in the food industry is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele. Familiarity with cashiering practices and basic math skills for handling cash transactions. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling is a plus. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Time management skills are essential for ensuring smooth operations during busy periods.
