As a Barista, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items. You will be responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction through exceptional service, maintaining cleanliness, and adhering to food safety standards. Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and food items according to established recipes and standards. Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment, utensils, and dining areas. Assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations and answering any questions regarding menu items. Monitor inventory levels of food and beverage supplies, reporting any shortages or needs to management. Follow food safety guidelines during food preparation and handling to ensure the health and safety of customers. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours.

Skills

Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers. Proficient in cash handling and basic math skills for accurate transaction processing. Knowledge of food service practices, including food preparation techniques and food safety regulations. Experience with POS systems for order processing is preferred. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills to effectively assist customers and collaborate with team members. A passion for coffee and willingness to learn about different brewing methods and beverage preparation techniques.
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.85-$18.00 per hour
