As a Barista, you will be responsible for creating high-quality beverages, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our customers. Your role will be pivotal in enhancing the overall customer experience while adhering to food safety standards.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages and food items with precision and care Operate the Micros POS system for efficient order processing and cash handling Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns Maintain cleanliness of the barista station, dining area, and equipment to ensure compliance with food safety regulations Assist in food preparation and serving, ensuring all items meet quality standards Manage time effectively during peak hours to ensure timely service without compromising quality Handle cash transactions accurately while following company policies regarding cash handling Uphold food safety practices throughout all aspects of food service

Qualifications

Previous barista experience or experience in the food industry is preferred Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing cash register operations Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is a plus Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations is essential Excellent time management skills to thrive in a fast-paced environment Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated
