Experience and Skills

1-2 years of experience as a barista in a cafe or restaurant. Familiarity with operating coffee equipment, such as espresso machines, grinders, and brewing devices. Proficiency in crafting various beverages, including espresso-based drinks, lattes, and specialty drinks. Knowledge of plant-based milk options and the ability to prepare them effectively (e.g., frothing oat, almond, or soy milk). Strong interpersonal and communication skills to create a welcoming atmosphere for customers. Capability to work efficiently during busy hours while maintaining high-quality service. Organizational skills to handle multiple orders simultaneously.

Responsibilities

Greet and assist customers with their orders, ensuring exceptional customer service. Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages, adhering to quality standards. Operate the POS system for transactions and manage cash handling accurately. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, including food preparation areas. Follow food safety guidelines and ensure proper food handling practices. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
