We are looking for a Barista to prepare and serve hot and cold beverages, including various types of coffee and tea. Barista responsibilities include educating customers on our drinks menu, making recommendations based on their preferences, and taking orders. To be successful in this role, you should have customer service skills and knowledge of how brewing equipment operates. You should also be able to work various shifts.

Wage $20.50 per hour and may be scaled with relevant education and/or experience.
Responsibilities & Duties:
Greet customers as they enter
Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and smoothies
Take customer orders and provide excellent customer service
Operate espresso machines and other equipment to make beverages according to established recipes and quality standards
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area
Handle cash transactions and operate the POS system accurately
Follow food safety guidelines and ensure proper storage and handling of ingredients
Assist with food preparation as needed
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations
Answer questions from customers
Maintain stock of clean mugs and plates
Check if brewing equipment operates properly and report any maintenance needs
Communicate customer feedback to managers and recommend new menu items
Requirements:
Previous work experience in the food industry or as a barista is preferred but not required
Excellent customer service and communication skills
High school diploma; relevant training is a plus
Knowledge of sanitation regulations
Flexibility to work various shifts
Basic math skills
Hands-on experience with brewing equipment
Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
