Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and efficient

Barista

to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, prepare high-quality beverages, and maintain a clean and welcoming environment. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced food service setting, engaging with customers and ensuring their satisfaction. Previous experience in the food industry, especially as a Barista, is preferred but not required. The position involves handling cash transactions, operating POS systems, and adhering to food safety standards.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other drinks according to company standards Operate POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cash handling Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and addressing inquiries Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently Maintain cleanliness of the work area, including food preparation stations and dining spaces Assist with food preparation and serving snacks or light menu items as needed Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly Restock supplies and ensure equipment is functioning properly

Requirements

Previous experience as a Barista or in the food service industry is preferred Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor Basic math skills for cash handling and POS operations Knowledge of Micros POS or similar systems is a plus Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment Good time management skills to handle multiple orders simultaneously Understanding of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Experience with serving, cashiering, and food preparation is advantageous Reliable with excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude

Pay: $24.73-$27.14 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
