Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced, passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service and food preparation, with a strong ability to create high-quality beverages while ensuring an exceptional experience for our customers. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting delicious drinks, maintaining cleanliness, and providing outstanding service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences. Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately using POS systems. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment, utensils, and dining areas. Assist with food preparation and serving as needed, adhering to food safety standards. Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly, taking orders efficiently, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during peak hours. Uphold food handling practices to ensure the safety and quality of all products served. Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment.

Experience

Experience as a Barista or in the food industry is required. Food Handers Certificate is Required. Smart Serve is Required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
