We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming environment for our customers while preparing and serving high-quality coffee and beverages. Your role will involve engaging with customers, providing exceptional service, and ensuring that all food safety and preparation standards are met. Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other menu items according to established recipes and standards. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process transactions accurately. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment and utensils. Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers warmly and assisting them with their orders. Assist in food preparation tasks as needed, ensuring adherence to food safety guidelines. Handle cashiering duties, including cash handling and balancing the register at the end of shifts. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service delivery. Collaborate with team members to create a positive work atmosphere.

Experience

Previous experience in food service or the food industry is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members. Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately. Familiarity with food safety practices is a plus. Experience with POS systems is advantageous. Time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
