As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages, ensuring high standards of customer service, and maintaining a clean and inviting cafe environment. Responsibilities

Prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages and food items according to established recipes and standards. Operate the Clover POS system efficiently to process customer orders and payments. Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafe area, including food preparation stations, dining areas, and equipment. Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines during food handling and preparation. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of coffee beans, pastries, and other supplies. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Utilize basic math skills for cash handling and retail transactions effectively.

Skills

Previous barista or coffee experience is highly desirable. Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with customers. efficiency in operating POS systems such as Clover. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment. Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling procedures. Familiarity with basic math concepts for cash handling and sales transactions. Experience in the food industry or cafe setting is an advantage.
