We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service and food preparation, with the ability to create an inviting atmosphere for our customers. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences. Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions accurately, including basic math for change calculations. Maintain cleanliness of the work area, including equipment, utensils, and dining areas, adhering to food safety standards. Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly, taking orders efficiently, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Assist with food preparation and serving as needed, ensuring all items meet quality standards. Utilize POS systems effectively, including Micros POS, to process orders and manage inventory. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods while managing time effectively.

Qualifications

Previous barista experience or experience in the food industry is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers. Familiarity with food handling practices and food safety regulations. Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated. Pay: $17.10-$19.25 per hour
