Overview

We are seeking a passionate and energetic Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing high-quality beverages and food items. Your ability to provide exceptional customer service and manage time effectively will contribute to the overall success of our coffee shop.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and food items according to established recipes and standards. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for processing customer orders and payments. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment and utensils used in food preparation. Ensure compliance with food handling and safety regulations to guarantee the highest quality of service. Engage with customers, providing friendly assistance and recommendations based on their preferences. Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality. Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and enhance customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

Previous experience in food service or as a Barista is required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food handling safety is an advantage. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours. A positive attitude and willingness to help others, contributing to a collaborative team atmosphere.
