Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and efficient

Barista

to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing excellent customer service and creating a welcoming environment for all guests. This role involves preparing and serving a variety of beverages, handling transactions, and maintaining cleanliness and safety standards. Prior experience in the food industry or as a barista is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in food preparation, customer service, and cash handling within a dynamic coffee shop setting.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages according to company standards Display bread and sandwich Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling Take customer orders accurately and efficiently while providing friendly service Handle cash transactions, process payments, and give correct change Maintain cleanliness of the work area, equipment, and dining space in compliance with food safety standards Assist with food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches or snacks when needed Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures at all times Restock supplies as necessary to ensure smooth operation during shifts
