Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated full time Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for creating exceptional coffee experiences for our customers while maintaining a welcoming and efficient environment. Your role will involve preparing and serving a variety of beverages, ensuring food safety, and providing outstanding customer service.

Duties

Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and espresso drinks according to established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station, dining area, and equipment. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Handle cash transactions efficiently, including processing payments and providing change. Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all customers. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Continuously learn about new products and techniques to enhance your skills as a Barista.

Skills

Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with patrons. Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods effectively. Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing. Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations in the food industry. Previous experience in cashiering or food service is preferred but not required. Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated. A passion for coffee and eagerness to learn about different brewing methods and beverage preparation techniques.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.85-$19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
