We are seeking a passionate and energetic Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing high-quality beverages and food items. Your ability to provide exceptional customer service and maintain a clean and organized workspace will contribute to the overall success of our cafe.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to standard recipes. Assist with food preparation, ensuring all items are fresh and presented attractively. Operate the POS system efficiently for order taking and cash handling. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafe, including workstations, dining areas, and equipment. Ensure compliance with food safety and handling regulations at all times. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service.

Skills

Proficient in using POS systems for order processing and cash handling. Experience in food preparation within the food industry is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to create positive interactions with guests. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transactions. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of food handling practices to ensure safety and quality standards are met.

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
