Overview

We are seeking a friendly and efficient

Barista

to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. This role offers an opportunity to develop specialised skills in coffee preparation and food service within a dynamic environment. Candidates should be organised, attentive to detail, and able to work effectively under pressure.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including speciality coffees and teas, ensuring quality standards are maintained. Handle customer orders efficiently whilst providing friendly and professional service. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee station, dining area, and equipment in accordance with food safety standards. Assist with food preparation tasks such as assembling snacks or light bites when required. Manage cash register operations, including processing payments accurately using various payment methods. Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth daily operations. Uphold health and safety regulations at all times, including proper food handling procedures.

Experience

Previous experience as a

Barista

or in a similar food service role is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate. Knowledge of

food safety

standards and procedures is advantageous. Experience with

serving

customers in busy environments demonstrates strong interpersonal skills. Basic

food preparation

skills are beneficial. Good

time management

skills are essential to handle peak periods efficiently. Ability to perform

basic maths

Pay: $16.10-$22.00 per hour
