We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating an exceptional coffee experience for our customers. You will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages while providing outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment. Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and standards. Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment and utensils, adhering to food safety standards. Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly, taking orders efficiently, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Assist with food preparation and serving as needed, ensuring all food items are presented attractively and meet quality standards. Utilize POS systems, including Micros POS, to process orders and manage inventory effectively. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours while maintaining high-quality service.

Qualifications

Previous barista experience or experience in the food service industry is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing. Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential. Ability to work as part of a team while also being self-motivated when required.
