Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and efficient

Barista

to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service while preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, engaging with customers and contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. Prior experience in the food industry or as a barista is preferred but not required, as training will be provided. The position requires strong time management skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering excellent service.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks following company recipes and standards Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for accurate cash handling and transactions Handle food preparation tasks such as assembling food items, maintaining food safety standards, and ensuring cleanliness Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and addressing inquiries or concerns Maintain cleanliness of the work area, including equipment sanitation and food safety compliance Manage cash register operations accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations for transactions Assist in serving food and beverages efficiently during busy periods Follow all food safety guidelines to ensure quality and safety of products served

Experience

Previous experience as a Barista or in the food service industry is preferred but not required; training will be provided for qualified candidates Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is advantageous Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests Ability to manage time effectively during peak hours to ensure prompt service Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety standards is beneficial

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.36-$22.73 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
