We are seeking a passionate and customer-oriented Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and inviting cafe environment. Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages and food items with precision and care. Operate the Aloha POS or Micros POS systems efficiently for order processing and payment transactions. Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and ensuring satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafe area, including food preparation stations and dining areas. Adhere to food safety standards and guidelines during food handling and preparation. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of coffee beans, pastries, and other supplies. Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. Handle cash transactions accurately while following cash handling procedures. Utilize basic math skills for accurate order processing and cash register operations.

Qualifications

Previous barista or coffee experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers. Time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment. Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling procedures is essential. Familiarity with retail math concepts for effective sales transactions. Ability to operate POS systems (Aloha or Micros) is a plus. Basic math skills for cash handling and order accuracy. Pay: $16.10-$28.00 per hour
