who love baked goods and who are ready to craft exceptional coffee and create memorable guest experiences in our bakery cafe!

Job Summary

As a Barista, you are the face of our bakery cafe--welcoming every guest with warmth, professionalism, and personality. You'll bring your love of coffee, food, and community to life through every order, interaction, and recommendation. You'll work alongside a passionate team to deliver an exceptional experience--from handcrafted espresso drinks to memorable moments for our neighborhood guests.

Responsibilities

Provide outstanding customer service that reflects the warmth, care, and hospitality of Paris Baguette

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso-based drinks, teas, and specialty beverages to standard Be a bakery product ambassador helping guests choose their baked goods based on their preference and sharing your own experience Engage with guests--sharing product knowledge, offering pairing suggestions, and upselling with confidence and sincerity Maintain cleanliness and organization of the barista station and front-of-house areas Take pride in presentation of drinks and food--ensuring accuracy, consistency, and quality Support daily operations including opening/closing tasks, restocking, and light food prep as needed Work collaboratively with the cafe team to ensure a smooth and joyful guest experience Follow all food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety standards Embrace the neighborhood cafe spirit--getting to know our regulars and making every guest feel at home Ability to work varying shifts, weekends and holidays, as well as, extended workdays to support business needs. Other duties may be assigned.

Experience

Passion for coffee, bakery, and hospitality Prior barista or cafe experience strongly preferred Strong interpersonal skills--you enjoy connecting with guests and teammates Ability to upsell thoughtfully and naturally, based on a deep knowledge of our menu Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work in a fast-paced, team-focused environment Smart Serve certification is a plus Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays Teams Win! Has to be a team player who fosters a collaborative and engaged team work environment. Being a Brand Ambassador, with an excellent knowledge of and commitment to Paris Baguette's Mission, Vision, Brand Values and Culture.
Job Types: Full-time (and Part Time Available)

Pay: $18 per hour + tips

Expected hours: 16-24 hours per week week
