Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating an inviting atmosphere for our customers while serving high-quality beverages and food items. Your expertise in customer service and food preparation will help us deliver an exceptional experience that keeps our patrons coming back.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and food items with precision and care Operate the POS system, including Micros POS, for efficient order processing and cash handling Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, ensuring adherence to food safety standards Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours Assist with food preparation and serving as needed, following proper food handling procedures Perform basic math calculations for cash transactions and ensure accurate cash handling

Experience

Previous barista experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided Experience in the food industry is advantageous, particularly in food service or preparation roles Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
