We're hiring a Barista to join our team and assist in the daily operation of our caf?. The successful candidate will serve prepared food and beverages, operate a cash register and clean up the caf?. We're looking for positive, cooperative individuals who are interested in working within our multi-cultural caf? culture to deliver the best guest experience. Responsibilities:

• Grind coffee beans, prepare espresso-based drinks, and prepare iced beverages; ensuring quality and a great customer experience.
• Refill and stock items as needed
• Create a positive customer experience.
• Establish and maintain positive working relationships with coworkers and customers.
• Follows all health code policies and maintains each stations cleanliness standards to ensure safety of employees and customers.
• Strong attention to detail
• Maintain clean and organized work area
• Other duties as required by supervisor or manager

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year experience in a coffee establishment.
• Strong communication skills and able to de-escalate/resolve issues in the moment.
• Consistently contributes a positive attitude in the work place and wants to help others succeed.
• Passion for coffee and excitement to share this with the community and build relationships.
• Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
