Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and efficient

Barista

to join our cafe team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, prepare high-quality coffee and food items, and maintain a clean and welcoming environment. This role offers an opportunity to showcase your passion for coffee, food service, and retail operations in a fast-paced setting. Prior experience in coffee shops or food industry settings is preferred, along with strong communication and multitasking skills.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks according to company standards. Handle food preparation and food safety procedures to ensure quality and hygiene. Operate POS systems, cash handling, and sales transactions. Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, answering questions, and ensuring a positive experience. Manage cash register operations accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations. Maintain cleanliness of the cafe area, including cleaning equipment, counters, tables, and food prep areas. Restock supplies as needed and assist with inventory management. Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures at all times. Support team members during busy periods by assisting with serving or other duties as required.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $16.50 per hour

Expected hours: 6 - 15 per week
