Job Description
We\'re looking for a skilled and reliable Barista to assist with the day-to-day operations of our pasticceria. The ideal candidate will have experience with coffee-based drinks and have proven excellent customer service skills. The individual should also be energetic, hardworking, self-motivated and passionate about providing great customer service. This job will involve taking orders, preparing drinks and serving customers in a polite and friendly manner. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve hot, cold, and frozen specialty coffees and teas to customers in a timely manner.
- Demonstrate knowledge of coffee and tea preparation techniques.
- Know the names of different coffee varieties.
- Prepare espresso-based drinks.
- Know how to operate the register and cash out customers.
- Maintain a tidy work area.
- Maintain cleanliness of work area and equipment.
- Learn names and terminology related to selling pastry and cake items.
- Learn names and terminology related to selling and serving gelato and chocolate products.
Part-time hours: 18-40 per week Salary: $17.00-$19.00 per hour Benefits:
