Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team in creating exceptional coffee experiences for our customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service and a love for coffee, ensuring that each beverage is crafted to perfection. You will be responsible for providing excellent service, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and contributing to a positive cafe atmosphere.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and food items according to established recipes and standards. Operate the Aloha POS or Micros POS systems efficiently for order processing and payment transactions. Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafe area, including food preparation stations and equipment. Adhere to food safety guidelines and regulations during food handling and preparation. Assist with inventory management, including stock rotation and ordering supplies as needed. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Perform basic math calculations for cash handling and register operations.

Skills

Previous barista experience or strong coffee knowledge is preferred. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming environment for guests. Time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Familiarity with Aloha POS or Micros POS systems is a plus. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and register operations. Knowledge of food safety practices related to food preparation and service. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members. Experience in the food industry or retail environment is advantageous. Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.85-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 35 per week
