Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for customers while preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and other beverages according to standard recipes. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for processing customer transactions. Handle cash and maintain accurate cash handling procedures. Assist with food preparation and presentation, ensuring adherence to health and safety standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment and utensils. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers warmly and addressing their needs promptly. Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours. Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment.

Qualifications

Previous experience in food service or the food industry is preferred but not required. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Proficient in basic math for accurate cash handling and transaction processing. Familiarity with POS systems is a plus. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced setting. Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor. A willingness to help others and contribute positively to team dynamics.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00-$19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 20 per week
