Terra is seeking experienced and dedicated baristas to join our Food and Beverage Department. As a Barista, you will be responsible for serving exceptional beverages and customer service. The ideal candidate is detailed-oriented, organized, and has good time management skills. The Role

As a Barista, you will:

Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including coffee, tea, specialty drinks and baked goods. Ensure all beverages and food items are prepared to the highest standards of quality. Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service and create a welcoming atmosphere by greeting guests, families and staff with a warm and friendly demeanour. Respond to customer inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner. Take Orders: Take and fulfill beverage orders promptly and accurately. Maintain Cleanliness: Ensure the work station and surrounding areas are clean and follow health and safety guidelines. Ensure all utensils and equipment are sanitized regularly. Cash Handling: Handle cash transactions accurately, provide change, and use the point-of-sale system efficiently. Collaboration: connect and engage in collaborative partnerships with fellow educators, colleagues, leaders, families, and the greater community.

The Qualifications

As a Barista, you have:

A clear Criminal Record Check Canadian citizenship and/or legally permitted to work in Canada Previous experience as a barista Strong communication skills in English Proficiency in a second language as an asset Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize and multitask. Good interpersonal skills. Have a passion for building and maintaining relationships with students, families, and colleagues A growth mindset, recognizing opportunities for learning and growth daily Ability to thrive in a creation, growth-stage environment
