We are seeking a friendly and efficient

Barista

to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, prepare high-quality beverages, and maintain a clean and welcoming environment. Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks following standardized recipes. Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, including cashiering duties. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station and dining area in compliance with food safety standards. Assist customers with menu selections, answer questions about products, and provide excellent customer service. Restock supplies as needed, including cups, lids, syrups, and food items. Follow food handling procedures to ensure safety and quality standards are met. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service without compromising quality. Support food preparation tasks such as assembling snacks or light food items when required.

Skills

Previous barista experience or background in the food industry is preferred. Proficiency with POS systems, especially Micros POS. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse customers. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours. Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and processing transactions accurately. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Ability to serve quickly while maintaining attention to detail in beverage preparation. Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and assist customers confidently. Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
