We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Bar/Hotel Manager to oversee our bar operations, ensuring exceptional service and a vibrant atmosphere for our guests. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food and beverage industry, with proven leadership skills and a passion for hospitality. This role involves managing bar staff, maintaining inventory, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily bar operations, ensuring high standards of service and customer satisfaction. Train, mentor, and manage bar staff to deliver exceptional service and maintain a positive work environment. Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies and monitoring stock levels to minimize waste. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper handling of food and beverages. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling procedures and POS system management (Micros POS). Develop creative drink menus and promote special events to enhance customer experience. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in accordance with health standards. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service during busy periods. Conduct interviews for new hires and participate in the hiring process for bar staff. Serve customers at times and be prepared to do any job in the business when needed.

Experience

Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food industry. Strong background in customer service with excellent communication skills. Experience in supervising teams, with demonstrated leadership abilities. Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling practices is essential. Familiarity with cash handling procedures and experience using POS systems (Micros POS preferred). Previous experience in hospitality or hotel settings is a plus; barista experience is also beneficial.
