We are seeking a skilled and passionate Barber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hair styling and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Barber, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality haircuts and grooming services while ensuring a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for clients. Your ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with customers will be key to your success in this role.

Duties

Provide professional haircuts, shaves, and grooming services tailored to individual client preferences. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tools, equipment, and workstations in accordance with health and safety regulations. Engage with clients to understand their needs and provide personalized recommendations for hairstyles and products. Upsell retail products and services to enhance the client experience and meet sales goals. Manage front desk responsibilities, including scheduling appointments, greeting clients, and handling payments. Foster a positive environment by maintaining excellent customer service standards and addressing any client concerns promptly. Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling techniques and products to provide informed recommendations.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Barber or in a similar role within the beauty industry. Proficient in various hair styling techniques, including cutting, coloring, and shaving. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele. Experience in retail sales and upselling is preferred but not required. Ability to sanitize tools and maintain a clean work environment consistently. Excellent interpersonal skills with a friendly demeanor that promotes client loyalty. A valid barbering license or certification as required by state regulations.
