Duties

Provide outstanding customer service by greeting clients warmly and understanding their needs Assist clients with hair styling consultations and recommend suitable services and products Perform hair styling services, including cuts, color, and treatments, adhering to safety and sanitation standards Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations and tools in compliance with health regulations Upsell retail products by educating clients on their benefits and recommending appropriate items Manage front desk responsibilities such as scheduling appointments, checking clients in/out, and handling payments Promote ongoing client engagement through personalized recommendations and follow-up communication Support team members in maintaining a welcoming salon environment

Skills

Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members Customer service experience with a friendly, professional demeanor Knowledge of sanitation practices related to hair styling and salon operations Ability to upsell products naturally while focusing on client needs Retail sales skills with an emphasis on building long-term client relationships Front desk experience is a plus for managing appointments and administrative tasks Basic understanding of hair styling techniques; certification or prior experience is advantageous but not mandatory
