We're looking for a positive and reliable

Part-Time Receptionist/ Front Desk Associate

to join our Bar1s Urban Fitness team! As the first point of contact for our members, you'll play a key role in creating a welcoming and positive experience.

Shifts are primarily evenings and weekends with some morning and daytime coverage required as needed. This is a year round position and not only for the summer!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Greet members and visitors with a warm, professional attitude Answer phone calls and respond to member inquiries

Be Punctual for morning openings

. Provide studio tours to new clients and sell memberships. Data entry- upload contracts, book and confirm appointments. Handle check-ins, calls, and general inquiries Make smoothies, espressos, and manage retail sales. Coordinate scheduling appointments with trainers. Help keep the gym floor and facility organized & welcoming General cleaning duties of the facility and change rooms.

Shifts are Mon to Fri 6-12, 12-5 or 5-9 and weekends 7-12 or 12-5

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Minimum 1 year experience in Customer Service, specifically in guest services, reception and/or hospitality. Possess excellent telephone skills and professional etiquette. Be POSITIVE, OUTGOING, RELIABLE AND RESPONSIBLE MUST have the ability to speak professionally with clients through various forms of communication (phone, e-mail and in person). Must be able to multitask and be punctual. Must have access to a vehicle/ reliable transportation and be able to open or close the gym. Provide references. CPR/First Aid/AED Current and clear record check.
