Job Summary

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff to join our team. The ideal candidates will have a passion for providing excellent customer service in a sometimes fast-paced environment. As a member of our bar staff, you will be responsible for serving drinks, maintaining the cleanliness of the bar area, and ensuring a positive experience for all patrons.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers. Operate the POS system efficiently to process orders and handle cash and debit transactions. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware (by machine) and cleaning surfaces. Ensure compliance with food safety and handling regulations. Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with patrons and addressing their needs. Assist in inventory management, including restocking supplies as needed. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders. Handle customer complaints professionally and resolve issues promptly.

Skills

Proficiency in using POS systems, particularly Micros POS is preferred. Previous restaurant or food industry experience is highly desirable. Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks during busy periods. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling procedures. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment within the hospitality sector. Cash handling experience is essential for managing payments and tips. Pay: $15.80 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
