The Bar Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the bar, ensuring high standards of customer service, staff performance, and compliance with health and safety regulations. They manage inventory, coordinate staff schedules, handle customer concerns, and ensure the bar runs efficiently and profitably.
Key Responsibilities:
Hire, train, and supervise bartenders and bar staff
Manage inventory, order supplies, and control costs
Create staff schedules and ensure adequate coverage during peak hours
Ensure compliance with liquor laws, food safety, and workplace policies
Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and ensure guest satisfaction
Monitor cash handling, sales reports, and daily operations
Develop drink menus and promotions to attract and retain customers
Foster a positive team environment and uphold company values
Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience in bartending and bar management
Strong leadership and team-building abilities
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Knowledge of liquor laws and bar safety standards
Ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
