We are seeking a Full Time Banquet Cook to join our Banquet Kitchen Team. As a Banquet Cook, you will work in a fast-paced, quick-service culinary environment for our members and guests, creating exceptional experiences with every dish. Responsibilities:

Complete food preparation for different styles of events within the Glencoe Club. Follow prep task list to prepare a variety menu items based on Glencoe standard recipes and requirements Prepare Mise en Place for service including intricately cutting up vegetables, butchering meat, or crafting sauces while ensuring Food Safety practices Assist in other culinary activities in the Glencoe Club when called upon Ensure all prepared food items are properly stored and ready for upcoming events Proactive and timely cooking of high-quality dishes to ensure food service comes out at desired times

Qualifications:

Minimum of 1-year culinary experience Journeyman Seal or working towards a Red Seal certification an asset Have open availability morning, evening and weekend Able to comprehend and follow verbal and written instruction in English Must be comfortable standing or walking during the length of shift and be able to repetitively lift supplies weighing up to 50lbs Food Safe Certification and other required certifications

Additional Details:

This is a Full-Time position that reports to the Executive Chef. The successful candidate will be required to work a variety of shifts including weekends, weekdays, evenings and holidays, so a flexible schedule is required.

The successful applicant will be required to complete a background check as well as Respect in the Workplace certification prior to commencing employment.
