We are looking to hire a Banking Sales Manager Canada \xe2\x80\x93 Financial Services.The Banking sales manager oversees the sales teams managing Microsoft\'s relationships with Banking customers in the Canadian Bank\xe2\x80\x99s driving digital transformation and innovation across one of the Canada\xe2\x80\x99s largest industries.Responsibilities:Sales Leadership & Customer Obsession

  • Deliver growth through leading and empowering account teams. You will lead execution of Go to Market activities to deliver Banking customers\xe2\x80\x99 business outcomes across their entire lifecycle
  • Accelerate customer satisfaction and model executive engagements with business decision makers and C-level executives, driving the industry-relevant technology conversation at a senior level with a high level of simplicity
  • Maximize share of wallet, achieve targets (billed revenue, consumption, and adoption), and win against competition through flawless execution.
  • Drive partnership across the organization to achieve business value for customers and business results for Microsoft, creating accountability across teams
  • Deliver business excellence in forecasting and reporting, and foster a culture of accountability within your account teams
  • Proactively expand a strategic network of key internal and external partners and other business decision makers for your team and customers to ensure execution of core tasks, grow sales and partner impact, and to ensure seamless account management experiences within the portfolio
Sales Execution
  • Proactively brings technology and client-specific industry-leading insights with partners into customer engagements and coaches and influences other managers internally on how to do this.
  • Influences Microsoft\'s strategic direction across various markets.
  • Acts as a technology industry thought leader in digital transformation across solution areas to advise customers. Influences organization through managers to drive strategic projects and high-impact solution sales deployments that enable digital transformation and deliver business value.
  • Leads partner integration into account/territory planning and customer engagements.
  • Oversees and inspires new Digital and AI Transformation projects (e.g., cloud platforms and services) through business outcome selling and expanding customer business decision maker (BDM) connections.
  • Sets a win strategy to accelerate and maintain a sustainable growth to win the overall market.
  • Shares a vision of cloud excellence and inspires the organization to communicate with customers, leverage business language, understand their business needs, facilitate customer interactions to assess customer needs, and connect the need to Microsoft technology.
  • Shares strategies to drive the cloud businesses growth at or above targets, and accelerates customer value realization through cloud services consumption across solution areas, including Support.
People Management

  • Develop, empower and transform your team to meet industry and customer needs by hiring, retaining, and developing talent.

Embody our &Qualifications:Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor\'s Degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Computer Science, Engineering ), Business Management, Economics, or related field AND 8+ years experience in sales, marketing/advertising, managing high performance sales and technical-sales teams, and/or leadership roles in multi-tiered large organizations
o OR Master\'s Degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Computer Science, Engineering Business Management, Economics, or related field AND 7+ years experience in sales, marketing/advertising, managing high performance sales and technical-sales teams, and/or leadership roles in multi-tiered large organizationso OR equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years direct/formal people management experience.
Additional or Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor\'s Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Management, or related field AND 10+ years related experience, including senior sales leadership roles, managing high performance sales and technical-sales teams, coaching solution sales and account development strategies, exceeding quotas by leading sales teams along complex sales cycles through a partner ecosystem and centralized marketing engine, Global, Area-level Business Management as a leader of Sales, Customer, Partner teams selling technology solutions/practice development, cloud/infrastructure technologies, and/or subscription services
o OR Master\'s Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Management, or related field AND 15+ years related experience, including senior sales leadership roles, managing high performance sales and technical-sales teams, coaching solution sales and account development strategies, exceeding quotas by leading sales teams along complex sales cycles through a partner ecosystem and centralized marketing engine, Global, Area-level Business Management as a leader of Sales, Customer, Partner teams selling technology solutions/practice development, cloud/infrastructure technologies, and/or subscription services
  • OR equivalent experience.
