CrumbBar is seeking a professional Baking Consultant for a short-term contract to help us refine our dessert production and enhance product quality. This is a hands-on opportunity to make an immediate impact -- with the potential for future collaborations on recipe creation and seasonal menu features.
What You'll Do:
Review and evaluate our current prep and baking procedures
Observe how desserts are baked, handled, and served
Provide expert feedback on improving consistency, flavor, and texture
Adjust or enhance existing recipes for improved results
Offer recommendations on workflow and equipment use
Assist in developing new desserts or limited-time features
Deliver a summary of your findings and provide on-the-spot training where needed
Schedule:
You must be available between 9am-5pm, Tuesday to Sunday, depending on prep and baking times. Presence during production is essential.
Qualifications:
5-10 years of hands-on baking experience
Degree or diploma in Baking & Pastry Arts or Culinary Arts
Strong understanding of baking science, process efficiency, and product quality
Experience with recipe development and team training
Creative mindset with a passion for innovation in desserts
Note:
This is a short-term contract, but we're open to future collaborations for new recipe development or seasonal product launches.
