We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Bakery Manager to oversee our bakery operations. Duties

Supervise daily bakery operations, ensuring all products meet quality standards. Manage inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining proper stock levels. Train and mentor bakery staff in food preparation techniques, customer service, and food safety protocols. Oversee cash handling procedures and ensure accurate transactions through the POS system, including Micros POS. Conduct interviews for new hires and manage team schedules to optimize labor efficiency. Implement health and safety regulations in compliance with food handling guidelines. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration among staff members. Engage with customers to provide exceptional service and address any inquiries or concerns regarding products.

Qualifications

Proven experience in restaurant management or bakery operations is essential. Strong supervisory experience with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction. Familiarity with cash handling processes and experience using POS systems (Micros POS preferred). Background in food preparation, cooking, serving, or barista experience is advantageous. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills with the capability to interact effectively with both staff and customers.
