Role Overview
We are looking for a versatile Baker for our Brockville location. This position offers a unique blend of responsibilities, ideal for someone who wants to work with great people, in a family-oriented environment, serving the local community.

Core Responsibilities
1. Operation:
- Assist in the daily operations of the bakery, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow.
- Oversee baking schedules, production quotas, and inventory management to ensure products are available and fresh.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery and kitchen areas.
2. Quality Control:
- Ensure all baked goods meet the bakery's quality and consistency standards.
- Record recipes and methods on paper.
- Implement and oversee food safety and hygiene practices in compliance with health regulations.
3. Customer Service:
- Address customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests professionally and efficiently.
- Foster a welcoming environment and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Assist in developing and maintaining strong customer relationships.
4. Product Development:
- Collaborate on creating new recipes and improving existing products.
- Stay updated with baking trends and incorporate them into the bakery's offerings.
- Assist in seasonal and promotional product planning.
5. Inventory and Supply Management:
- Manage inventory levels of ingredients, packaging, and supplies.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement.
- Monitor and control costs to maintain profitability.
6. Marketing and Promotions:
- Help plan and execute marketing strategies to promote the bakery.
- Assist with social media management, advertising, and community outreach programs.
- Participate in events and promotions to increase brand visibility and customer engagement.

Key Skills and Qualifications
1. Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- Culinary or baking school certification (preferred).
2. Experience:
- Proven experience as a baker or in a similar role (required).
- Previous management or supervisory experience in a bakery or food service setting (preferred).
3. Certifications:
- Food handler's certification or ServSafe certification (required or willing to obtain).
4. Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Capability to lift heavy ingredients and equipment as needed.
- Willingness to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as required.
