Job title: Bakery plant supervisor (NOC 92012) Terms of employment: Permanent & Full time Position Location: 6120 44 Street SE, Calgary, AB, T2C 5K5 Employment start date: As soon as possible Number of Vacancies: 1
Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Analyze production and quality control activities of baked goods, cakes, pastries, intended for wholesale distribution Draft and finalize working shifts of bakers and food processing staff in the facility, considering the employees' availability and production demand Communicate with owner, director, other senior figures within the company to discuss how quality of baked goods can be improved Coordinate and schedule packaging and delivery of goods to stores and vendors Ensure produced goods are packaged properly to minimize damages to its delicate form (i.e. cakes) Ensure the production facility is safe and clean Educate and train new staffs on workplace and food safety policies Order ingredients, supplies, equipment as needed Prepare budget, expense, production activity report on regular basis Train staff/workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies
Academic, Training and Experience Qualifications

Secondary school graduation certificate required Several years of previous experience is required
Work conditions and physical capabilities

Attention to detail, Fast-paced environment, Handling heavy loads, Physically demanding, Repetitive tasks, Standing for extended periods, Tight deadlines, Work under pressure
Wage

Salary: $36~$38 per hour for 30~44 hours a week at 52 weeks a year

Vacation pay: 4% remuneration of total gross salary
