$21.00/hr starting rate 12:00am-8:00am Night Shift Weekend availability is a must. Working days: Tue, Wed, Thu, Sat, Sun. Overtime available.
The Oven Operator is responsible for operating Oven, Retarder & Proofer for appropriate processing of bagels Job Duties:

• Comply with all applicable legislative and Weston Bakeries food safety, health and safety and environmental policies and procedures.
• Monitor & adjust oven & kettle temperatures, also the retarder/ proofer parameters
• Ensure Lot #’s of toppings are recorded for traceability purposes
• Top up the stock of ingredients / materials used for the process
• Monitor FIFO and organization in ingredient storage area/racking
• Report any quality and/or process variation to the Production Supervisor in a timely manner
• Follow production schedule to ensure production is running on time
• Conduct change overs and related tasks as required
• Keep the area clean and put away utensils in the proper location after use.
• Perform other related duties as assigned or required.
  

• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Ability and skill to quickly acquire knowledge of our baking process and products.

• Strong communication and math skills.

• Ability to work a flexible 8 hour shift
