Duties
Oversee daily bakery operations, ensuring that all products meet quality standards and are produced in a timely manner.
Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed to maintain optimal stock levels.
Lead, train, and mentor bakery staff, fostering a positive team environment and encouraging professional development.
Implement and enforce food safety protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop new recipes and improve existing offerings.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and courtesy.
Utilize POS systems for tracking sales and managing transactions effectively.
Conduct interviews and assist in the hiring process for new bakery staff.
Experience
Previous experience in a managerial role within the food industry, preferably in a bakery or restaurant setting.
Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, including baking techniques and food safety practices.
Proven leadership skills with experience in team management and staff training.
Familiarity with POS systems to manage sales transactions efficiently.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and staff alike.
Experience in bartending is a plus but not required.
